“Spring and “springtime” refer to the season, and also to ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth.”

Thankfully, Lowe’s found an awesome way to celebrate this beautiful time of the year.

They are giving away “Garden-To-Go” kits every Thursday in April.

The retail company that specializes in home improvement started its SpringFest 2021 events on April 8th. The festival includes the weekly giveaway of garden kits with no minimum spend requirement.

Actually, you can get one without purchasing anything.

How generous is that of Lowe’s?

The weekly free garden kits are also in support of Earth Day which will be on Thursday, April 22nd.

Every Thursday of April, the home chain will be giving away these garden kits, which customers can pick up at a designated curbside area of the store.

How can you avail yourself of this “Garden-To-Go” kit?

It’s easy as one, two, three! You just need to register online.

All you have to do is go to Lowe’s official website and click on the SpringFest 2021 banner on the home screen. Then once you’re inside the event’s page, look for “Garden-To-Go” kits, listed under the ‘Family Events’ section.

Just type in your details as requested by the page. Now, if fate would have it that it’s already out of stock, you can look for an available reservation slot by changing the store location.

You’ve got to act fast because these kits are only available while supplies last.

On a Tweeter post in April, Lowe’s advised its consumers about the kits:

“A limited number of kits are available for each experience and this extremely popular event drove more traffic than we ever expected. We’re taking steps to ensure a smoother registration experience throughout SpringFest.”

The registration for this drive-thru event started the first week of April, and they’ve been giving away these free tree saplings since April 8th.

Last Thursday, they gave out Mystery Garden Piñatas with mystery seed packets.

The last two kits for the remaining Thursdays of the month are:

  • April 22: For Earth Day, Lowe’s will give out 500,000 tree saplings
  • April 29: “Lowe’s Butterfly Quest” to help families create a butterfly garden.

You are not just making yourself busy and your garden greener, but you are also making the environment cleaner.

Marisa Thalberg, Lowe’s executive vice president, chief brand, and marketing officer told USA Today about the overwhelming interest of the community in this event:

“Spring just feels so metaphoric this year. Sort of this coming out of our winter, literally and figuratively. We’re already seeing that interest starting to really build quickly as the weather is starting to get warmer in different parts of the country.”
