Are you a fan of Family Feud?

Surely you’ve seen an episode.

Or at least some YouTube clips.

The show’s known for its zany family fun and wholesome hilarity.

But today… today’s a little more ridiculous than most episodes.

Sometimes, it pays to be wrong.

Host Gerry Dee takes it away, introducing us to the game’s eager contestants.

Where’s Steve Harvey you may ask. Well, this is the Canadian Family Feud.

The Canadian version’s a hoot, too. It’s quite entertaining.

Gerry’s not half bad.

Let’s get going.

Our gracious host introduces the contestants.

Today, it’s Logan vs. Eve. They’re ready for a showdown.

As are we, as are we.

Ya love to see some friendly sportsmanship.

This handshake foreshadows what’s to come.

Logan’s certainly ready to go.

Just look at that face. He’s practically Spongebob on a workday.

That’s one eager beaver. There’s some determination behind those eyes.

Don’t let his soft good looks fool you!

Have you ever been a contestant on something? What about a spelling bee?

It’s nerve-wracking.

Imagine having stage fright!

And imagine not knowing an easy answer…

Embarrassing, right? Well…

This game’s not really forgiving. And there can only be one winner.

Gerry explains the rules: “Whoever guesses this wins the game.”

It’s one answer for the win! And this one’s a doozy.

“Name Popeye’s favorite food.”

Everyone should know the answer to this one…

It’s such an easy question!

Eve slams the buzzer as quickly as possible. She’s fast, but will she be right?

Here goes nothing…

“Chicken!”

And with no shame at all, Eve breaks into a victory dance.

The crowd lets her know what happened with a mix of laughter and shock.

Eve turns around, embarrassed to face even her own family.

They let her know, too.

Gerry’s head says it all.

Logan’s family can’t help but laugh.

They’re having a hoot of a time.

Gerry pokes fun at Eve by mocking her dance moves over… and over.

Fortunately, she’s a good sport. She must have been thinking of Popeyes the restaurant.

Her family looks back at her, not knowing what to say.

How can someone you love be so, so wrong?

It’s hard to fathom.

The victory was there for the taking!

Instead, embarrassment.

She’ll be mocked for that dance forever.

Not because she doesn’t have smooth moves…

On the contrary.

She was just flat out wrong.

Well, that’s how it goes.

That victory dance seems like more of a defeat dance in hindsight.

Logan swoops in for the victory.

“Spinach.”

Just. Like. That.

Logan doesn’t need a dance. The victory’s all he wanted.

Sometimes, patience and thinking things through goes a long way!

Gerry ends the show with some smiles, imitating Eve’s ridiculous dance again and again.

Although Eve’s lack of knowledge cost her family the game, Popeyes reached out with a prize of their own!

In fact, they gave her a check of $10,000!

Kids, sometimes it pays to be wrong…
