This husband got some major brownie points when he gave his wife the bedroom makeover of her dreams as a surprise. While she was away leading a church youth camp, he completely transformed their bedroom and it took her breath away. Judging by her reaction, I’d say it was a huge success!
When this wife goes out of town for a church trip, her husband gives her the surprise of a lifetime that leaves her stunned
Bryce and Nellie Jurgy, are a married coupled known for their family YouTube Channel, The Jurgys. They have 226k subscribers on their travel-based adventure page. The couple has been remodeling their house but had yet to make it to the master bedroom, something Nellie desperately wanted doing. That’s when Bryce got the idea.
As soon as Nellie left for her week-long church camp trip, Bryce started planning his epic surprise. The video starts by showing us the bland bedroom as is before Bryce gets to work on his makeover.
First things first, he orders a king-size Helix bed and starts assembling it. Bryce then starts picking out decor for the room
Bryce takes the risk of picking out Nellies bed preferences, even with his best friend advising against it. He would just have to wait and see if she liked it!
He crammed a hug mirror into his car, purchased some plants including a fake sunflower which is Nellies’ favorite kind of flower. Now that Bryce had gathered the decor, he’d just have to figure out where to put it.
The dedicated husband even spent hours hand-crafting a wooden picture of the mountains
Bryce is quite the artist, he handmade the sculpture of the mountains using some old crates. He then put a light that changes different colors, behind the mountain for some extra flare.
3:30 Am rolls around and Bryce is still working on the room transformation. Once he finally gets everything set up perfectly, it’s time for the big reveal.
Nellie gets back from her trip and Bryce immediately has her put on a blindfold before walking her to the room
When Nellie takes down the blind-fold, you can instantly see her happiness beaming out. She asks her husband: “Who Are You?” while smiling from ear to ear.
Nellie can’t believe her eyes when she sees the hand-crafted picture of the mountains her excitement is obvious. She loves it all, the plants, floating shelves, and bedding Bryce picked out, but she still has yet to realize the biggest surprise. Is that a new bed?
Only when Nellie sits on the brand new Helix bed, does she realize Bryce really went the extra mile
