Many people, well Canadians especially, believe Canada is the greatest place on Earth. Everyone there is extremely nice, they have really good maple syrup, and they even have Tim Hortons!

There are many reasons to love Canada, so we’ve put together the 50 best ones that are also hilarious.

1. They cheer strangers up with posters, just because.

2. Bear-shaped license plates exist

These license plates were used before 1999. They started using regular plates since then, but you can still see one every now and then.

3. Canadians love pranks

And they clearly have a great sense of humor. One time a resident in Montreal made a fake car out of snow and “parked” it in the wrong spot to prank police.

It’s the third country to have the most oil, after Venezuela and Saudi Arabia.

They’re called “Cleaning For a Reason,” and they help the women by cleaning for them.

7. Canadian money is waterproof

That should be a good enough reason in itself! Your money can’t get ruined! Some people also believe it smells like maple syrup.

8. They are very hospitable people

So hospitable, that they built a special launching pad for aliens when and if they decide to visit. They welcome literally everyone.

9. Police are insanely kind

Like, they will stop at a young girl’s lemonade stand just to buy some lemonade. How pure!

Canadians take their nature seriously, setting a wonderful example for other countries.

39. The maple leaf on travelers’ backpacks

Someone who is traveling in a different country can wear a maple leaf on their backpack, even if they’re not from Canada. It’s used as a sign of respect.

While they are super humble and polite, they are still cool. It’s what some people call “Canadian swagger,” and more people should have it!
